I think if someone had a vested interest, they would perhaps spell the name of the restaurant correctly...

I personally really like Ele & Ela and have had many enjoyable evenings there, both down to the food and the service. I have to admit I've never eaten in the 'outside' part, but would never call the restaurant soulless. I also echo Bruce Wallis' post, the restaurants he mentions really are a cut above the rest

Ha ha ha i wish!! This is my dad (davido) who registered to post about the dog fouling he was surprised to see, and since he did so has posted a couple of other times..... i wish he had a vested interest in a place in carvoeiro!!! Why do people always assume the worst??

One of my favourite places to eat in CVO,so was annoyed to hear some people l know went there last week for a birthday meal and paid 120 for their meals and drink (4 people)which was ok but when one of the party ordered a bottle of champagne at the end of the meal (it was in fact sparkling wine)they were presented with an extra cost of 80 euros, they questioned this and the waiter went to check and came back and said the price was correct. Now l know they should have qualified the price before ordering but 80 euros for what you could have bought for 10euros max.P*** take in my book 4 customers lost i think.

That is interesting, because my son and daughter went to Ele&Ella for their birthday in March. I phoned up and asked that they be given a bottle of champagne when they arrived.

It was done, and when I went in to pay for it, I was charged 38 euros....and it WAS proper champagne.

Had great meal last Friday as usual, very good price, drinks on the House, asked for a Bottle of wine and was reccomended another which was just as nice and cheaper, shame when people have a bad experience in the best Restaurant in the Village (thats my opinion)

Don't disagree about the friendly service and port at the end of the meal, but the food is not as good by a long shot as other restaurants in Cvo.

It always puzzles me why people jump on a post.

I am sure Joanne had a perfectly pleasant evening at E + E, we will visit two or three times at least when i come to CVO next week for our annual visit. It is our Fav resto as well.

We all have our Favs dont we.It is horses for courses.

We always receive good service and are welcomed year on year.Although i do hope the slightly Brusque waiter from last year has moved on

How is the team made up this year.Is Kimmy back front of house?

Are you saying people are not allowed to reply to a post unless they agree with it then Hedley? - this particular restaurant has some very vocal supporters who continually sing its praises.

My personal experiences are not that good - over-priced, limited menu and very poor service more than once - and its within my rights to say so.

My information is that, that is very unlikely....but she is still running a business in Carvoeiro.
Why not seek her out :D
