Rota Do Petisco - Tasting Trail

Post by mug »

Highly recommended on the small sample of the many venues visited so far! (Although not many have a Carvoeiro address!) We have until 15th October to try many more. The proprietors we met have all been most welcoming and have produced interesting fare at minimal price. Tonight we received an impromptu fado presentation on top of the food in Lagoa - all for 3 euros each.

Go to www.rotadopetusco.com. What you need is a "passport" which costs €1 (monies to charity I understand) available from any venue which details all the venues, maps and the food on offer.
