Re: Speed Cam near Jumbo
Very confusing one site saying 90 and another saying 70.
Re: Speed Cam near Jumbo
One is Portuguese and the other isn't. If you obey the 70 as it is the lower number then you won't have a problem.logicbob wrote:Very confusing one site saying 90 and another saying 70.

Thanks Farol for finding another site - it illustrates my point very nicely, how are we supposed to obey a law that between us has taken a fair amount of time to discover a simple fact a ie the speed limit that a speed trap is trying to enforce. We are still none the wiser, but I guess just don't exceed 70kph and hope that this slow enough.. Brilliant
Re: Speed Cam near Jumbo
It flashed me in July, no penalty letter yet.Fingers crossed!
Re: Speed Cam near Jumbo
Maybe we have ourselves a Carvoeiro flasher with no teeth then ...
I would have thought that a penalty letter would have landed by now? Perhaps the camera is just set to flash for a period of time to act as deterrent and will be switched live with penalties after a month or two? Still does not solve the problem of what speed it is set at so everyone will just slow down to a snails pace to be sure.

I was flashed there in July same as Mollo - been expecting a fine to hit the doormat ever since but nothing yet.
