Legalisation of pool

Post by lagermeister »

Hi

Can anybody help me.

We had a small Warterair pool installed in 2003 and were told at the time that we could get it legalised later on .
Our solicitor at the time said that we didnt need a licence as it was a Kit Pool.
As it happens we are now trying to sell the property but need to get the pool legalised.
Has anybody been in this situation and if so, how did you go about legalisation.?

Thanks in advance.

I bought my property in 2006 completing the purchase in early 2007 and it needed a licence for the pool. I ended up getting it sorted out (long story involving difficult vendors solicitor etc) and got a small reduction on price. It was expensive requiring detailed plans and an application to the Camara. It took a while but I got it legalised.

I will dig the info out and pm you in the next few days if that helps.
