car port planning permission

Post by Bootneck »

Is planning permission required for simple wooden car port attached to an end gable wall. We are in Carvoeiro so come under Lagoa camara. Any basic info available ie on height, distance from boundary wall requirements etc .

As long as it's not on foundations and it doesn't affect the neighbours, have a go, just put it up. 8)

I was told that you have to leave 1 metre clearance between your neighbour's boundary and any construction you might wish to erect?

Many thanks Pickwick, a great alternative to what we had in mind, and I must admit it would not have occurred to me to consider this form of cover, as I have never seen this(or any other) company advertising this type of product. Thanks again to you and the forum, it, the forum, certainly has its uses. David
