I thought this subject had been done to death on here over the last couple of years.

We normally use Easygo, who have a base in CVO - direct transfer by taxi just for the two of us. V reliable and reasonably priced.

However, i've noticed SunTransfers have started to operate out of Faro and we've used them in a number of Med resorts over the last few years. They're offering a really good price at the mo from Faro to CVO, for a private transfer - and we've always found them v reliable elsewhere across Southern Europe

A friend is coming here in the summer, family group of 7 people, have booked a return transfer from Faro to Carvoeiro for €108!, seems very good value;

firm is called yellowfish transfers, never heard of them, has anybody else?

We do not use them because they will not take guests to apartments but just drop them off at receptions leaving the guests to make their own way to their apartments which in some complexes can be a long walk with luggage.

Hi Sunman,

When I used Yellowfish to go to Sesmarias I put down Gama Club as my destination and when I was in the taxi I asked the driver to drop me at Rosa's as I was meeting friends there. No problem, although it was sometimes a bit tricky arranging the pick-up from Rosa's.
When I use Resorthoppa I just put Sesmarias Cafe as the resort and never have a problem ( it's also very cheap but sometimes takes a while if you are not first drop ).

That's a really good price for a private transfer to CVO - was it a private transfer or shared with other people?

This afternoon i've been quoted 85euros and 92 euros return by 2 different co.s for a 2-person private transfer in early Sept.

These prices are v competitive - amazingly, if i go back just 2 years, when petrol was much cheaper, most return prices Faro to CVO for a 2-person private taxi return was between 100 and 110 euros. Seems like times are proving tough for the transfer co.s - as a practising consumer 'champion' i'll see if i can get the prices down a little more before actually booking - luverly jubberly! CVO businesses take note - we want better value!
