The Killer Bees

Post by jaybee »

OK, maybe a bit on the dramatic side, I'll admit. But a problem, nevertheless.

Overnight - literally - the bees have descended on our garden shed. When we opened the shed door this morning they were there. Now, hours later they are still guarding the door, and I'm not about to push my way past them to get inside to see if they have rapidly constructed a hive.

I don't really want to have to kill them, but as my beer fridge is in there...you see my problem.

Has anybody had any experience with a rapid onslaught of bees? How did you get rid of them? HELP!

Find a Bee keeper in the area, they'll come and remove them if they are bees :)

Maybe you could get some imported over here to the UK Jaybee :)
Our bees are on the decline in the UK and have been so for couple of years now, specially the honey and bumble bees.....
and of course they are very important for our food crops, as bees act as pollinators, essential in food production.
Please don't kill them :) (if you can help it)

p.s. There is a 'school of thought' that you can 'talk' to bees.....have you tried asking them to leave? :)

That is the silliest thing I've ever heard! Everybody knows that Portuguese bees don't speak English!
