Can anyone tell me where the Ministerio Das Financas is in Lagoa? Have tried to pay online and at the Multibanco but having no joy.

When on the on the EN125 in Lagoa head to the west roundabout before you leave Lagoa towards Portimão. Here, turn into Lagoa and take the first left (it should be signposted "Finanças", but I am not 100% certain.

You should be driving towards the t-junction at the mammoth new GNR police station. Take a right at the T then circle to the left around the mini-roundabout that follows, take the next right again and you will find the finanças on the left about 50 mts down the road.

The code on the IMI invoice is only valid during the month stated at the bottom of the invoice (usually April and October I think). It will not work after these dates!

Can be paid on line up to 1 month late ie end of May, end of October. After that a "fine" must be paid and so needs to be done in person
