Well I've bitten the bullet and gone all electric for peanuts eurowise, at least I'll feel safe when I've been out at night and return and switch the lights on without the fear of being blown up, bye- bye bottled gas.

Does anyone know much it would cost to replace gas boiler used to heat the water in a two bedroom apartment with an electric boiler.I would love to change but worry incase there is not enough water for showers.

I had to have a tank replaced about 5 years ago and went for a larger one to cope with the occasions when my sisters family are here. I will look out the cost as an indication . We've never been short of hot water. Got rid of gas bottles when the kitchen was refitted at about the same time as I didnt like the idea of gas bottles
