I've been told there's a ladies football tournament on sometime in June 2019. Despite spending quite a bit of time searching online, I can't finding anything. Having driven past the stadium on many occasions, we've never been to a game and would like to do so. Can anyone help?

There was a women's football competition a couple of years ago because I was given the tournament programme. Will look back my collection of 'stuff' and see if I can see who organised. One of the teams stayed at Vale d'Oliverais.

The Algarve Cup is a Women's Football event attracting national teams from around the world that is held annually in early/mid March...not sure if that is what you're looking for. The event locations are at various stadiums located across the Algarve with the final usually held at the Estadio Algarve near Faro. The Algarve Cup 2019 website may eventually provide information on competing teams, dates, locations and times but right now seems to have very little in that regard. We've been to 3 or 4 games over the past few years but, unfortunately, attendance is usually pretty low given that it is an international event. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the responses - I suspect that the Algarve Cup is the event. Looks like we'll have to wait for another year as we're in the Algarve until late Feb/ very early March then not back until mid June.
