Passed by Albatroz Jazz and Blues club last night which has reverted back to the seedy strip joint it was before.
What a sad day for Carvoeiro.

Colina Verde AGM was held in Feby, so there was a few of us around in the evening. First night 4 of us went into Albatroz. Probably around 11pm. There was 2 other customers in the the bar. And a guy on the piano. And it was cosy for Feby. The next evening we all met up for a meal in Case Algarvia, and afterwords a few of us popped into Albatroz for a drink. The guy on the piano was there and one of our party joined him on stage and we had a bit of craic. I was looking forward to going there in April, sorry to hear its reverted to former self. I think it would have done all right when there was more people about.

That is a shame. Thought it was a nice place and had good potential.

Just seen sticker on their big ad near Aldi - "FREE BEER FROM 22.00 to 0.00"

I agree,how dastardly is that!!! What do they think we village people want from life??? ..............By the way what are the opening hours?

Cant be 100% sure Pato, but if you are a part of a gang called "village people" then I am thinking this place may not be for you
