Where to stay at Easter
Where to stay at Easter
Hi All
We are planning on coming to Carvoeiro again for the first week of Easter(27th March), 2 adults and 2 kids(5 and 3)?
I have been looking at Collina Village as it's got an indoor pool, Mirachoro again got an indoor pool and it's in the town centre or Monte Dourado as it's got a heated pool and it's in town centre! Ideally we want to do some swimming and the Collina village looks to have best pool but it's out of the town, also heated pool may still be too cold for the kids, does anyone have any advice about these places please or any other suggestions?
Many Thanks
Chris

Re: Where to stay at Easter
Hi Chris,
We have previously spent two Easters in the Mirachoro and it was absolutely spot on. The indoor pool is reasonably large and it also has a jacuzzi hot tub, a steam room and loungers in the same area. It wont be very busy at that time of the year so you will probably find you have the indoor pool area to yourselves sometimes.
The pool aside the Mirachoro is a good place to stay in general - the location is great, staff are friendly, rooms are adequate and there is a nice selection at the buffet breakfast.
Hope this is of help and enjoy your holiday wherever you decide to stay

Re: Where to stay at Easter
AS an owner at M/D I'm a little bias, but the resort is well situated for all that the village can offer and it's run pretty well,it takes 5 mins down the hill and 10 mins back up,you would be hard pressed to find somewhere else better.
Re: Where to stay at Easter
Many thanks both of you for the info. I think you have ticked one off my list(Collina Village) as I think we want to stay in town even thou we will have a car!
I have to say I am slightly leaning towards MD as it's an apartments rather than hotel so more space and cooking facilities etc. @PTBUXTON does the pool heating make a difference? Also is there a heated kids pool as we have two that don't swim yet!
Again any responses very much appreciated. Thanks

Re: Where to stay at Easter
My two grand daughters loved it last Easter and are looking forward to making a big splash again this year,as far as I know the kids pool is also heated.I'd hurry up in booking at M/D as they are getting booked up.
