Casa Algarvia
Casa Algarvia
Anybody know what happened at the above restaurant, although we did not use it on every visit when we did go the food was always pretty good and Paulo was always in attendance when you needed something,in fact it was probably the first place we ever had a meal in CVO all of 9 years ago now.

So why did Paulo leave does anybody know?
Re: Casa Algarvia
Believe it was a family dispute, his uncle would not rennovate thr property which it was greatly in need of.

What a shame. Casa Algarvia has been our favourite restaurant for the last 12 years. We always found Paulo
and his staff very friendly, professional and the food was excellent.

Re: Casa Algarvia
My understanding is that Franck and his wife intend to run both Casa Algarvia and Oasis.
Re: Casa Algarvia
I thought the current owner of Oasis was a big Dutchman who was connected to Lanterna Verde, being the son of the owner there?
Re: Casa Algarvia
Had wondered what was going on when in cvo early in new year as it had previously been open at that time of year. We dont very often go there anymore but its a favourite with my sisters family
Re: Casa Algarvia
Just wondered how the alterations at the new casa algarvia were getting along, have the people from Oasis moved in yet ?
Re: Casa Algarvia
Hi,
We had a look earlier this week and the builders are in and work is well underway. I guess they will aim to be open for Easter.

Looks like they had an Opening Party last night. Some familiar faces there.
