Hello, having visited portugal a few times we particually liked pingo doce because of the cafe and takeaway food at v cheap prices, we are staying at pestana gramacho and were wondering if there was a pingo doce close by or if there was another supermarket that provides a similar service.

There is one in Lagoa on the south side of the main roundabout you will take to approach Gramacho from the En125 from Faro.( less than 10 mins drive )

Is this a large one? with takeaway food etc, on there website it seems the closest one is in portimao to offer the take away and restaurant etc. are there any local ones that offer similar services?

It is not a large one. They do some take away food and have a small cafe area.

Yes the closest one with restaurant/take-away area is in Portimão. There's also a Jumbo Pão de Açucar closer to Gramacho, also with a small café area like the Pingo Doce

Intermarche has a busy cafe area. Their set lunches are really good. Jumbo is bright and airy and you can watch the world go by. It also has free wifi.
