Can anybody point me in the direction of an apartment (1 bedroom) to rent for the period December 30th - January 4th 2014 - with modern facilities and close (sensible taxi fare) to town please

There is more property here for sale or rent than ever before, it's why the market is poor & prices falling, supply outstrips demand by a considerable multiple.
