Its advertised elsewhere for significantly less than this price, but this ad has better pictures.

Where is this villa? Walking distance to town/beaches? I know its right on the beach distance wise but its a cliff... how far to actually walk to a usable beach?

Rocha Brava is in between Carvalho and Centianes beaches - fair old walk from town especially when going back uphill however I don't think that villa is on RB - looks too much lawn unless they used a fish eye lens

Interesting article in this weeks Resident which if true could cause complications for those who own beach/cliff side properties.
If they cannot establish private ownership of the land as far back as 150years ownership could revert to the state.??

Could this be a nother case of " much ado about nothing ".

I've just seen it - it is on Rocha Brava but looks smaller from the front.
Beautiful villa and position now at 1.6 million down from 3 million.
If I win the Euro Millions I might put in a bid as long as I'm not taxed too much

So how far do you reckon it would be from the villa to the main town... a reasonable walking distance?

I'd go view it myself but I'm not in Portugal right now

It's a fair trek from rocha brava into carvoeiro , 45 minutes or thereabouts .

depends how fast you walk, but does'nt take us that long. it's 5mins by car and about 3km

Cheers, 3km is probably towards the upper limit of how far I'd be willing to walk. Will investigate further once I get back to portugal

It's up and down hill and too far for me to contemplate walking especially after a few drinks !
6 Euros in a taxi is far more civilised
