Vets and Cats
Vets and Cats
We have discovered that the young " intact " tom who moves in with us when we are in Carvoeiro was in fact left behind by his owners when they moved. They took their dogs and birds but left the cat .
As a stray can we legally take him to be doctored and if so where should we go ?
Our next visit is for almost 4 weeks so we assume that there will be time for his op and recovery.

I think there is a place on the out road, opposite Taste, that will neuter cats free.....but you need to catch, cage and deliver.

Thank you for that, no problem catching him, he just walks in, climbs on to the sofa and sleeps for most of the day.

We used to have an adorable Calico that treated us like family many years ago. Every time that we visited she was already pregnant so could not have her fixed. One year she was lame and pregnant and the next time she was not there. SAD!
Now we have a tabby that we call Miss Priss- she was a kitten and very afraid of us. Now, 4 years later she makes herself at home and loves boxed milk.
