Hi, We are coming out on the 11th December for a month and our young son has diabetes and receives about 4 injections a day and blood sugar tests so over a month we'll have a stockpile of used needles etc and are wondering if anyone knows of a place to dispose of them i.e a doctors surgery as we do in UK. Or do we just throw them away in the usual household waste? Any info would be much appreciated.

If info on this still needed, you can take them to the Centro Saude in Monte Carvoeiro, the nurse there will dispose of them.
