Who owns that f***ing dog at the top of restaurant hill
Who owns that f***ing dog at the top of restaurant hill
THat has been howling, screaming, yipping non stop since 7am this morning. It is bloody unacceptable. Can someone do something about it please?!!! I cannot work out exactly where it is coming from otherwise I would visit the premises and make some suggestions. But I AM seriously pissed off. It sounds like a small dog, it sings in several octaves and then finishes with either a whine or several yips. It is sending me demented!!! It is definitely near the old Primavera site rather than the bigger howling dog which is round the back of the Mirachor area.
Any help with shutting said dog up would be much appreciated.
I thank you.

Well, after what you've had to say about it, no one will be claiming ownership!

D'you know - within 10 minutes of posting, the dog has gone completely silent. I think it must be a member. And I never realised dogs could use computers ...
Either that, or the builders at the old Primavera have buried it under a ton of cement.

Welcome to Portugal.
We have got used to the barking dogs, cockerels. geese. neighbours comings an goings.
At least we do not have p****** tourists coming back in the early hours or those who think that they have a right to play music at all hours at the highest volumes achievable.

EMM - I've been here 5 years or so, and have been subject to the barking dogs from all around the vicinity of the Mirachor. But this is the first time I have felt the need to complain on the forum. It really is intolerable - even the builders are complaining about it now!!!
I am woken each morning by the road sweeper, closely followed by the cement mixer opposite me at the Primavera, yesterday the gas men chiselling a hole in the wall with a pneumatic drill. None of that bothers me - it is what you expect from a place as busy as Cvo and people have to get on with their jobs. But this dog is definitely something else!!!

Only 1 dog, your are spoiled, do not know what you are complaining about. We have the alsation next door, the little yapper across the road.
The phsyco great dane cross a few doors away and his two little yapper friends who live opposite. At least 6 others within a couple of hundred metres and who knows how many more that we come across in our travels walking into and back to town.
Count your self lucky, we do we love living here.

I'll swap you one large barking dog for a 7am pneumatic drill and a road sweeper?
I think that you have the "on the road" accommodation where you are continuous noise from cars, workmen, sweepers etc and the "side road" accommodation where you get the noise from people living their daily lives (which includes dogs). You get used to whichever you plump for when you decide where to live.

What about tar, would that do

I can see we are going to need quite a big hole at the top of the hill. Perhaps we should have a restaurant named "101" and just shove everyone and everything that irritates us straight into it.

Re: Who owns that f***ing dog at the top of restaurant hill
brought back a memory there..when we lived in our Lagoa apartment the fella next door had dogs(on the roof).....they would start just as we went to bed...then of course the whole town of dogs followed suit.....it was murder!!
I shouted out bedroom window one night.....the dogs on the roof next door suddenly disappeared.....had to confess to a feeling of guilt after that
