After more than 8 months fighting cancer very sadly PETER BELINFANTE passed away last sundaymorning at 04.00 hrs amids his family and friends.
In love with the Algarve for many many years he was also pretty active writing in the forum at Carvoeiro.com

Peter was one of the first people that I remember on this forum and has been a great help to me in locating various items that I needed.

We will all miss him.

How very sad I remember him posting when Gary and I first joined about 5 years ago.

Sad news. I had missed his always informative and helpful postings for a while now. Condolences to his family and friends.

I didn't even know he was ill. I am saddened to hear of his passing. Condolences to his family and friends. He was a valuable contributor to the forum and was of great help in aiding me in setting up the FAQ section. It was a 'job' that should have gone to him - but he stepped aside and let me continue, while he helped from the sidelines.

Im so very sad to hear that Dick.....he seemed a lovely man and so helpful here on the forum. I had no idea he was ill and missed him here on the forum..
I had his address somewhere (he bought my book 'Algarve Shorts')...Dick if you have contact with his family please send them my sincere condolences..

I was with him when he died and will fly to Holland again this friday for the service.
