Utd v Chelsea

Sad I know, but I am already starting to think about Man Utd v Chelsea on Saturday 3rd April and I haven't even got to CVO yet!!!
I arrive 27.3.10 so I will have a week to determine the best place for viewing this crucial Premier League game. Any suggestions in the meantime from fellow football fans (Utd or Chelsea) gratefully accepted.
There are two big Champions League games (Utd v Bayern Munich) whilst I am in CVO to think about!!
Please do not think I am some football lout only interested in football. I have also studied the internet extensively for places to go to while in CVO and will be taking in several cultural visits as well as sitting in a bar watching football.
As I say, any pointers for the best place to watch football would be good. Thanks x

There will be plenty of bars showing the Man Utd v Chelsea game - must say we have previously watched the matches in Smilers, Hemingways, Sully's, Helders Tropical Bar near Rocha Brava to name just a few bars.

Hope you enjoy your stay and that the weather improves alot to what it was like when we were there three weeks ago.

I know where i we will be watching in Altrincham but would love to be over there again.

Come on United. :D

Good lad Johnnie p. I like your humour. It is a bit embarrassing a team like Liverpool playing football on the dreaded Thursday night slot. Things could be worse...... John Barnes could still be hosting the programme!!!

Sara in Joker Bar is a plastic Scouser so she will definitely have Liverpool games on, plus she shows all the other football and whatever other sports are on.

Lamby,

In fact john & i do live in Sale but most of the games we watch with our mates in the Orange Tree in Altrincham.

Have a great holiday and if you do get to Helders Tropical Bar say 'hello to him from the Mancunians' - he will know who you mean.

Be out later for the Bolton match - another three points. :D Come on you Villa!!

Regards,

Julie & John

Of course there are Man.United fans from Manchester!!!! just because we are more global than other teams! The pubs are packed out when Utd are playing which is more than can be said for the other team from Manchester play!
