Alterntive Butcher

Is there anyone now local in the town CVO that we can get meat now the butcher in the centre of town has closed down. I seem to recall one in an indoor market (not sure the name) but not sure how good the meat is. Although we shop at the supermarkets en'route to CVO, duing the week we tend to pick up the odd steak or two locally.

The one in the market serves excellent meat, never had a problem and I'm fussy. He is also reasonably priced compared with Intermarche

I agree Mike, the butcher Gonsalves ( I think) is very good in the market up the street from Velha Laterna.

As a former beef farmer and very fussy about our meat, we found the market butcher in CVO excellent and very helpful, thoroughly recommend.
