I was sorely tempted to seek out a black tabby and a tin of white paint! Mind you, if the grammar isn't incorrect and it does only have one leg then I couldn't bring myself to amputate one of its back legs!
But, joking apart, this is very sad and they must love the cat very much to offer such a large reward. If I had been able to find it I could not in all conscience accept such a sum. A drink or two or a meal perhaps, but no way could I take €2000!

That is a hell of a reward for a black moggy, as you say he must love his cat very much. It seems to be the way with a lot of the Portuguese people we know, they're either completely bonkers over their pets or they don't care about animals at all.
What area was the poster in?

The guy is distraught and has been looking for his cat for several months now, it was lost near Centeanes but he has put posters up all over Carvoeiro

This particular poster was on the out road on the lamp post outside Taste. Apparently the posters have been up quite some time!

This may be useful if you find the cat

This is the most cruel and inconsiderate post I have ever seen in this forum. I am outraged, that you would think it funny to post something like this after reading that the owner of the cat has been looking for his pet for several months now. Shame on you!
I have been a member of this forum from the very beginning and have seen far too many themes deteriorate into very inane and senseless drivel and tried to ignore it and look for the good parts, of which there are many, but this one just blew my top.
Please keep your warped sense of humour to yourself.

Come on heini! I think most cat owners would see the humour in this. The point it is making is that cats are notoriously fickle and that it would take such a contraption to keep one secure. That's the charm of cats.

Sorry LB but I'm a cat owner and agree with heini - it's in very poor taste considering the subject of the thread

I am a lover of cats and have been a cat owner in the past and this picture made me laugh. It wasn't meant maliciously I am sure, unlike Dodger's unnecessary offering! I do sometimes wonder about the sad lack of senses of humour from some posters, some of it I put down to a misunderstanding with language barriers etc but other times I am sure people deliberately go out of their way to object to something which at the end of the day is just plain funny to most people and offensive to only one or two (over) sensitive souls!
Back to the original thread. I read somewhere about a cat that had been missing for over a year and then turned up, unhurt and well looked after. Lets hope that this is the case, unfortunately I suspect not! I have seen
way too many kittys "sleeping" on the sides of the roads in CVO.

Sorry but I agree that this is offensive in this post, the owner has been desperately looking for his cat for some time and is distraught.
In its self the post would be amusing posted in jokes as a funny tongue in cheek item, but NOT in this thread. Imagine if this was a missing child thread and someone posted a similar item, would you find it funny then?

Al Garb, this Cat Carrier is fabulous. ( I just can't resist asking) Do they have one in human sizes too? I would asume the price would a little more than that quoted.
