We were staying up at Playa de Roche and the bars up there were charging 2.50 a large beer, and one of the sports bars was 2.20 on match days. We also got a large beer for 2.50 along from where that bloke was standing dressed in the yellow bikini at the bottom of the taxi rank, walk along that road, there is a fresh juicer bar on the right, (1 euro a bottle) and along a bit on the left they were selling for 2.50

Large beers are usually 40 or 50cl so you might think you are getting a cheaper beer but you might be paying less for less. Lots of bars in CVO still sell large beers for 2.50€. We were at the Restaurant at O Castelo beach last week & they charged us 3€ for a large beer too, I think location is the key & also time of year.
