Hello - we are coming to Co for a few weeks soon and I need to work on my laptop now and again - can anyone advise me about possible wireless connections - hotspots - etc. We know the area quite well.

I am new to wireless and not very clever with computers.

Hemmingways has a wireless hotspot. When I was in CVO last June I would spend an hour or two working on my laptop over a nice cold beer and sandwich. The nice lady there also let me plug in the power cable to their electricity supply when my battery ran low. Just open your internet browser and you will automatically be directed to the wireless service provider page (which has an English language version). Use a credit card to buy some time and you will be given a password to use. Log on with the pasword and away you go!
