time to travel to praia da rocha and portimao?

Hi! Going to stay in carvoeiro in 2 weeks, Can anyone tell me how long it takes to travel to praia da rocha and portimao in a taxi or by bus (if there is one?), and is it worth it for the nightlife?

it depends, if you want to go by bus takes you ages to get there, but there's only buses untill 7.30 pm if i'm not wrong, if you want to go by taxi it might take 15 to 20 mins depending on the traffic,

there's more options on the nightlife in praia da rocha, nightclubs, bars, restaurants etc... but carvoeiro also as an interesting nightlife, it's worth check most of the bars....
