F C Carvoeiro United.
Well done to FCCU for a one nil win on Saturday. Goal came from a massive punt from the goalie (Adam from Rascals) that bounced off a defenders head and over the head of the advancing opposition keeper.
It's what Saturdays are for, football and a beer afterwards!

Re: F C Carvoeiro United.
This game was played at the stadium in Estombar. €2.50 entrance fee. Standard was similar to that of possibly semi-pro/premier amateur league. Crowd of about 80,including 2 GNR!!!pato wrote:Where do they play and at what standard.smudger wrote:Well done to FCCU for a one nil win on Saturday. But it was only 2.50 Euro entry! You can take the boy out of Johnstone etc.........
Anyhoos , you going to game on Saturday in Faro? If so I take it you are walking there and back!!!!!
CK
P.S. I think they have a 20 minute gate!!!!! We can collect all the refundable bottles together!

Saturday 25 October at estombar stadium, FCCU 0 v 1 FC 11 Esperancas. Should have got at least a point. Good crowd, approx 200.............and 4 GNR!!! The bar was open as well.
Next Saturday 1 November is apparently the local derby match against Lagoa. The players all know each other so playing for bragging rights in the pub afterwards.
Hemingway usually advertise the games.

Spent afternoon at Port Glasgow 2 Johnstone Burgh 5. 12 yellow cards, 1 red! So different from last week temperature wise, last week high 20s at Estombar, today lucky if made double figures!!!
