And your point is?? The planks being laid across only adds to the enjoyment of skateboarding or rollerskating the lengths of the boardwalk

Günni, love that boardwalk in Alvor, especially when the tide is in.

Bit near the edge innit!, what with all these rock falls. Wonder how long it will be before the Gippo's have a scarf stall on it?

I have just checked the width and I reckon the little train will fit nicely on it. :D

We went along the bit that has the floor down which is from the church to around halfway. It really is impressive with a few raised seating platforms along the route. I took some video, which I'll put on youtube when we get back.

We walked along the other day. It is quite close to the edge in places and the distance between the railings and the walkway are an ideal height for a young child to run through!
I can think of much better ways to spend their money - thought there are austerity measures :?

My grandson said exactly the same. We wondered if they plan to address this before the walkway is officially completed.

I'm sure H & S will visit the walk and amend the design, one problem is though if they make it kid safe the dog owners won't be able to let their dogs poo poo on the land, anyway don't let the kids walk unrestricted you don't let the little brats walk on the pavements that way do you. :x
