Spending Xmas in Lagos... hurrah...

Plan to take home made xmas cake with us, but decorate it in Portugal, otherwise I don't think it will survive.

Anyone know the Portuguese for ICING SUGAr (I'm guessing AZUCAR do.....)

I know I could guess, but sods law says I'd end up with a bag of caster sugar instead.

Think the phrase you are looking for is "acucar glace" but could be wrong. Good Luck !

As it is Sunday, it's full translation is "Acucar em po para cobertura de bolo. (Im looking at the box I bought so you can get it here and Custard Powder too, but I havent seen any Marzipan over here, unless anyone else has?

According to my Portuguese dictionary 'icing' is cobertura de acucar..
but Id go along with Helen's translation :)
