Peas

Post by Janet O »

Why is it that peas are very rarely served in the restaurants?
You can have sprouts, strawberries, carrots, beans but not peas!

I love peas! I grew my own when I lived in CVO. Got a little plant and was so proud when it produced peas :D

ktee Atlantico peas are my very favourite, I usually have the entrecote with potatoes, peas & carrots. Sometimes they bring cabbage instead of the peas but I always insist on them & they are happy to oblige. Daft, you might think, they're only peas but these are cooked in some sort of stock & are completely yummy :D

My husband swears by the roast leg of lamb - it's not on the normal menu but on the specials board on Fridays and Sundays (I think), I don't eat meat, but he says it is the best roast lamb he's ever tasted!

Last time we went they forgot the peas, until the owner came round and noticed they weren't on the table and quickly arranged some for us!
