Can someone clear this up, once and for all?

I've heard people on here talking about Algar Seco Bistro and A Boneca. Are these the same place or seperate? If they are seperate, I know where A Boneca is but where is Algar Seco Bistro?

Algar Seco Bistro is the restaurant attached to the Algar Seco apartment complex over looking the cliffs at Algar Seco.
A Boneca is the restaurant/bar at the bottom of the steps at Algar Seco,
set into a dip between the cliffs.
Or am I wrong?

You are spot on and to complete the picture the previous owner of the Bistro now runs the Estrela do Mar near Bubbles on the road to Areas dos Moinhos.

The Estrela do Mar is vey good we tried it twice in April and were warmly welcomed by the guy that used to be at the Algar Seca Bistro.

Thanks for the replies. Would you recommend either of these?

Would recommend all of them for different reasons. The bar at the bottom of the cliffs is a fun place - I understand he food is good but didn't eat there.

Hiya, we ate at the bottom of the cliffs/ steps back in 2006 and it was great, fab sea views, wonderful balmy night with the stars twinkling, very romantic, thoroughly reccommend.
Have not eaten in the one beside the carpark above, but we did go last time to Estrela do Mar and is was very good, spotlesly clean and very enjoyable
