Re: clifftop boardwalk
[quoHave you been to Armacao de Pera? There's a nice walkway there that goes across a nature reserve with wading birds. It's on the far side of town and there are a couple of disabled bays. Armacao also has a nice promenade with a good surface][/quote]

Re: clifftop boardwalk
have to say it will be good for us, we come to CVO every year and my brother who has 'downs' finds the pavements hard going, it will be good for him to have a nice flat surface and a great view too

Calm after the storm
Just wondered how the bars and restaurants who got a terrible battering with the huge waves are going on? We regularly visit O Barco and Algar Seco when we are over,
Have they managed to recover?

Re: Sexual Assaults on young girls 2004 to 2010
I saw this on TV last night, we have been coming to CV for nearly 18 years, my daughter was 9 months old when we first came, and I really feel that it reflected the village in a bad light. The report didn't explain how the parents came to know how the man had got into the apartments/villas, it would...

Use the restaurant review site - eatalgarve
After posting, it was suggested that it would be a good idea to try and keep the EatAlgarve review site up to date. I have looked at this in the past but didnt find it that helpful as it was a few years old. But if no-one uses it and just posts on the forum it will stay this way. So i have started r...

Re: Villages like CVO
Just repeating another post but Pollensa in Majorca is lovely and the very nearby Puerto Pollensa , nice restaurants and bars and a lovely sea front where you can walk. Beach here is really good and water lovely and warm. We went here for quite a few years until we fancied a change and found Carvoei...

Re: Julio's, Chef Antonio,Bon Bon etc
Went to Julios for first time this holiday, have past it by every year but decided to try new places this time. Sadly not a great first visit - avacado wasn't ripe and had a great big caterpillar grub in the mint garnish. Pointed it out to waiter, who shrugged and said, they live in the mint bushes....
