Thanks for the replies, we went to Aqua shopping the day before we got the request! Also looked in Intermarche but none available, will just have to take another trip to Aqua if time allows.

We have guests arriving on Thursday & they have requested a stair gate for top & bottom of the stairs. We have one at the top & need to buy/rent one more. Does anyone know where I can find one local to Carvoeiro?

I'm really surprised that you were met with that response. Marina & Hugo normally the friendliest & welcoming couple you could wish to meet. Their food is fresh & flavoursome so maybe worth another try.

Returned home to the UK yesterday morning. Through security no problem at all. However passport control was very chaotic, a massive queue not very well organized at all. Back to cold wet weather, miss those blue skies!

I love everything about Carvoeiro & surrounding area with the exception of the DS on the pavements etc. It seemed even worse on our visit this month, instead of admiring the views constantly watching your step. People need educating and perhaps more dog bins could be provided.
