Re: Recommended Taxo airport transfers
Hi Gaynor I have started to use Holiday Taxis. www.holidaytaxis.com I normally get an Easyjet flight and they are advertised on their website. You can get an online quote, for the amount of people travelling, amount of luggage you have. You can choose a private car or a minibus, bus etc. It was near...

Re: Bistro72
No, snixon, I am not the owner of Bistro 72. I do not drink in Rosa's every night. I am actually at my office in England right now, about to start work at 9.00am. From your PM to me, you are a nasty, vindictive person. Sending blackmail to people is not nice....who ever the intended recipient is. I ...

Re: Bistro72
Anyone dare to contradict snixon or Mrs T...(I strongly suspect they are one of the same) - prepare for a negative, defensive reply. Just because they had a bad so-called bad experience, doesn't mean that everyone that has a good experience is wrong, or making it up? Davethegreat, surely he is free ...

Re: Rosa's Bar Sesmarias
Hi - I am arriving on Sunday and staying near this little place. Is it open on a Sunday- around 6pm-ish?
If not, is there another bar that is open around here at this time?
Thanks.

Re: Bistro 72
Thanks bruce - you got there before me!
I wake at 5.30am and work 40+ hours a week and don't have the privilege of a full English breakfast at home! This is part of my holiday!
Saying that though, I will also be consuming plenty of the local food and drink aswell.

Re: Bistro 72
I presume the Bistro is still open? Coming out soon and enjoyed all my visits there last year.
Breakfast to set me up for the day - and I guess they will have all the Euro 2012 matches on the big screens later in the day/evening?
Anyone know anything?

Re: Webcams - it looks very quiet
Are Carvoeiro prices typically more expensive than other areas on the Algarve/Portugal? I am wondering if people are choosing to go elsewhere? I've only ever been to Carvoeiro, so hard for me to compare. I was near Murcia in Spain last month, and I'd say prices for drinks/snacks etc. were pretty rea...

Re: Webcams - it looks very quiet
I agree, it is better to have a crowd and an atmosphere. Whilst it is nice not having to wait too long for food and drinks, I don't really want to be the only person in a bar or restaurant!
Very worring for the local business though.
Fingers crossed it picks up very soon.

Webcams - it looks very quiet
I keep checking out the webcams and it seems very quiet.....
Is this really the case?
Coming out in a couple of weeks and wondering what it will be like, hoping there will be more people around than trees......

Re: Snow in The High Peak
Arrgghhh, that white stuff is supposedly threatening to fall heavily in the Aylesbury Vale tomorrow morning!
Fingers crossed the weather forecasters have got it wrong!
Last thing I (or anyone else in the UK) need is to be stranded in England when they were hoping to be in Portugal for Crimbo!
