Hello all, I know that there have been rumours that the Almansor was due to be refurbished and that this would cause disruption to the hotel. Does anyone on the forum know if the refurbishment is still planned? And if so, when will it be? Also, have any forum members ever stayed there with children?...

Have a great time - very jealous! CVO in the Spring is just beautiful. And nice one fmm to recommend Marisqueira - one of the massively underrated restaurants on the forum. Are they closed one night of the week though?

I think we are all agreed that even though the service is slow, it must have 'something' to make it so busy. I'm not so sure it is all location, as apart from a few tables at the front of the patio, you don't really have a great view.
