Hi Satsuma, you'll love CVO, wonderful place to fall in love with. Been coming for over ten years with my wife and kids, and bought a place out here a couple of years ago. Now try to go as often as possible. It's a little enclave with great character and wonderful people, even the "Grumps"

I think it's a kneee-jerk reaction to the general level of trade, and despite the current mess, I do agree the changes did drastically improve the appearance of the centre. Hope things pick up for all concerned as we don't want to see empty shops, restaurants and bars dominating the place!

There ia also a petition circulating around the town generated by some of the shops and bars whom are asking for the car park to be reinstated due to diminishing trade.

Just arrived back to the UK. The flight was a little bumpy, but nothing too bad. Carvoeiro is great whatever the weather, so enjoy it all of you lucky people who are still there!

Anyone know the phone number for Algarve Hygiene, or any other company supplying paper products in the area?

The Carvoeiro sign does it for me every time, can't wait to see it at 11.30pm next Thursday night. Only a flying visit, but managed to make it over at least once a month every month last year and hope to do the same again this year. Can someone persuade my wife to make a permanent move?

I've eaten there many times, and the food is great. I'll be out next week and will definitely try the Dourada!

Hi, I took the crossing from Plymouth to Santander and back last summer with the dogs on Brittany Ferries. The ferry crossing was great, and I really enjoyed the drive down to Carvoeiro, with beautiful scenery along most parts of the route. Many of the roads are pretty new, with hardly any traffic, ...

I'd rather be in Carvoeiro in the rain than Bolton in the sun!
