TRANSPORTING THINGS FROM UK TO ALGARVE
Hi All
Happy New Year to you. Does anyone have any details of companies and idea of prices for transporting 4 radiators (15 kilos each) from the UK (Midlands) to the Algarve (Lagoa area). Obviously the cheaper the better. Many thanks.

Re: Chrissys, Lagoa
Hi, its me again, sorry I didn't know that some of the drinks were included in the price until the last time we were there. This restaurant is seriously good and you must give it a go. We went there again before coming home and again the food was splendid. It's a lovely place to have a relaxing meal...

Re: Chrissys, Lagoa
Re Chrissys LAGOA It is under new management and we have now eaten there several times. The food is wonderful and it is well worth a visit. It may be a little more expensive than a lot of places but the extra money is worth it. We have had some incredible dishes there and would recommend anyone to t...

IMPORTING A CAR
Sorry folks, that old chestnut again. I've now got the chance of buying a VW Golf on Spanish Plates. The value is approx 4000 euros and I am tempted. Can anyone tell me how to go about importing the car and does anyone have any idea how much import duty I would be paying. As you all seem to be very ...

Re: Monarch Flights
Hi, I always use Monarch when coming to Faro but out of Birmingham. Have had a couple of tussles with them before but generally they are fine. First of 3 return trips planned for end of April and all booked with Monarch, will let you know if they make any changes. I agree as well Easyjet are good wh...

Re: OWNING AND DRIVING A CAR IN P0RTUGAL
Thanks everyone for your thoughts I have taken note of all of your comments. I must say this is a good site. Re the transfers from Faro, I think you can get a shuttle bus for about 24 euros return or so I am told, though I don't have experience of it as I always hire a car. I realise its not as conv...

Re: OWNING AND DRIVING A CAR IN P0RTUGAL
Thanks Silki that looks very possible then. If anyone has a car they are thinking of selling I would be interested to have a look. Nothing flash mind as I am only there about 10 weeks a year but something reliable would be good. Thanks very much for your help, much obliged.

OWNING AND DRIVING A CAR IN P0RTUGAL
Hi folks, sorry I know this topic just keeps coming up but I am totally in a fog. I do not live in the Algarve but own a property there. I am UK based but am fed up with paying for car hire every time I come over. I was thinking of buying a cheapish car and keeping it in the Algarve. What are the pr...
