Villa Sao Jose

Hi, having foolishly strayed away this summer :oops: and gone to vale do lobo we are looking to come back 'home' next' summer. Have found a villa with supeb views that is described as being near QDP and wondered if anyone knows of it and a better idea of location. many thanks Julia

although i don't know the exact details, you may be interested to know that a group of the larger villa owners are in the process of legally contesting the stranglehold the management tries to exercise. i think primarily they object to paying management\maintenance fees when no work has been done as...

could anyone please give us a rough idea as to what is a reasonable fee/percentage charged by a lawyer when purchasing a property - mind you is any fee they charge ever reasonable ? :lol: just want to check we are not be inordinately ripped off. thank you , julia

Thank you very much notary ( mmm, is that name a bit of a give away i wonder :lol: ) there is an ongoing lawsuit and we have advised our lawyer of it. let's hope it doesn't spoil what we have waited so long for. As usual the forum continues to offer very kind and helpful advice, julia

the train did use to stop at various points on route and was quite a fun alternative to taxi transport to the village ( if that is your idea of fun! the children loved it ) announcing it's arrival with the charming bell :lol: ( tongue in cheek ) , bring back jumbalino !

:? we are hopefully in the process of buying a villa on rb :D but the vendor informs us that they and 15 others are in dispute with rb over a management fee levied for non existent work. could anyone confirm what sort of fees they pay rb , or whether ( and which ) management company they use instead...
