Re: Dolphins

How wonderful! And to see them from shore as well. We went dolphin watcing in Madeira and we were lucky to see loads of them. We also got to swim with them. They interacted or they didn't which was fine. We also went whale watching in Monterey, California and were lucky enough to come across three w...

Re: July 2011 Newletter

Another absolutely brilliant newsletter Margarida. Thank you very much for taking your time to find out all this information and let us know. The music concerts sound great but unfortunately, we wont be there at that time. Keep up the good work and help yourself to a beer to keep you going....

Re: Burglary Clube Golfemar

Sorry to hear this Rayeileen. Not really what you need to hear is it? It's not just the burglary itself, it's all the inconvenience and hassle you're now going to have to put it all right.

Re: Cabanas de Tavira

Well, I hope we can get to Tavira when we hopefully come out in September/October. We're having to cancel our June trip (boo hoo) and really hope we can come out later in the year. Otherwise it'll be next February time. We do try to come over 3 or 4 times a year and never get bored.

Re: Cabanas de Tavira

That would be interesting BSJ. When we go out, we normally do a bit of exploring along the coast but we've never been towards Tavira. We'd like to go on the river trip which I think is somewhere towards Tavira and it would be nice to have some recommendations of good restaurants, cafes, etc. Have a ...

God, this thread really depresses me! We would only have 15 sleeps before we arrived but have had to cancel. We hope we might visit later this year. :(

Re: slowing down

The people next door to us are still selling their 3 bed villa. It's been on the market for nearly 3 years but they haven't reduced the price at all. They're asking nearly 3 times what they must've paid for it.

Am SO pleased to hear this Shanagarry. Hooray for Noah! May he have a long and happy life with you and your family. Give him a bit of a talking to though, to remind him he has to stay in your garden!

Re: UK TV freeview (does it work in Portugal)

Is that right Pato? We've had Sky for several years now and only had the 'phone connected for the first year. After that, I think you're entitled to remove the connection. We still have Sky and have had no problems.
