The easiest way is to get a Portuguese bank account and you can use the banks online site or App to pay bills. We use Millenium and everything is converted to English and the process is very simple.

I just carried a single club over with me - it lay horizontally in the overhead locker (it was an iron and not a ‘wood’) my thoughts were that it was no different to a walking stick - all be it a long one. I flew with easyJet and the crew did not bat an eyelid
